There was 30 000 azerbaijanis in mountanous karabakh and 600 000 in surrounding lands that were expelled from their homes so 100000 armenian can join armenia when they dont even border armenia. For karabakh to become independent they had to invade azerbaijan and kill azerbaijanis living in karbakh

To those who complain anout parades in azerbaijan. Our people have been killed, forced from their lands for 30 years. America and russia and france sent diplomats to baku for 30 years to eat kebab and tell us just accept invasion. So why are yous uprised that we celebrate victory? For us we did not defeat armenia or armenian lobby. We defeated iran, russia and France.

Pashinyan basically had to do this because Azerbaijan was attacking into Armenian territory while also making incursions into Karabakh. After Russia's disastrous invasion of Ukraine, they weren't going to defend Armenia or Karabakh to any significant degree. That is why Pashinyan felt he had to cut some sort of deal and forgo any status for Karabakh in favor of some minimum security guarantees. Russia also declined Armenia's request for CSTO intervention multiple times.

Hmm, for some reason Russians never talk about the events and "hero action" Russians did when they went back over Poland and other countries after the victory they so much love to point out... heroes indeed... shame on this. I hope one day Russia will develop to a normal country that actually looks friendly and lovely and that you really would love to visit. These days it is just a violent monster.. During WWII two of my uncles were in the US Army Airforce fighting along side Russia to defeat the NAZI's. Now my country is funding a war in Ukraine that is under the control of a NAZI leader and I am sick and tired of it. It's time for a change in US foreign policy and it can't happen soon enough. Russia should be a US friend and trading partner.

The USSR was given enormous quantities of material support from the western Allies, especially the United States during world war 2. The war against nazi germany was won in spite of mostly incompetent military leadership in the USSR which caused incredible casualties among the fighting men. Nothing much has changed since then. Russia can barely manage to steal land from its much smaller neighbor who is receiving old equipment from the west. Russias military leadership is incompetent because their primary purpose is not to win wars, but to protect Putin and this thugs from domestic threats like Wagner.
